40th Annual Youth Recognition Awards

Farmington Youth Assistance(FYA) is now accepting nominations for its 40th Annual Youth Recognition Awards. We are looking for individual youth or youth groups who deserve recognition for their outstanding service but may not typically receive it from the community. One of the goals of Farmington Youth Assistance is to promote positive examples of youth volunteerism. To honor these deserving youth, we need your help in identifying them.

You can nominate either an individual or a group, and more information is available on the form.
Nominations are due by Friday, March 21st, 2025, at 11:59 PM.

30th Annual Youth Recognition Event – April 28th

30th Annual Youth Recognition Event – April 28th, 2015.

Farmington Youth Assistance (FYA) reviewed youth nominations for its 30th Annual Youth Recognition Awards. We were looking for youth who deserve recognition for their service, but who may not normally receive it from the community at large. One of the goals of Farmington YouthAssistance is to encourage  positive examples of youth volunteerism. In order to honor these deserving youth we must locate them, and for that, we rely on you.

To be eligible for recognition, youth must…

  • Reside in Farmington or Farmington Hills or attend Farmington Public Schools
  • Attend grades 7 through 12
  • Exhibit exemplary volunteer service through their community, faith-based organization or school totaling a minimum of 100 hours.
